A group of Holy Savior Catholic Academy third-grade students who excelled on their 2013 state math assessments were rewarded with a field trip – via limousine – to the Kansas African American Museum.

On Wednesday, May 1, the students took the limousine ride to the museum, where a former heavyweight boxing champion, Ross “The Boss” Puritty, spoke to the students about continuing to “fight” for academic excellence.  The students also had the opportunity to do printmaking, the subject of the current gallery exhibition at the museum.
