At Holy Savior, her responsibilities included directing the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults process and serving as Pastoral Assistant.

“We all have a call, the call that Jesus asks of us. And that call, we all have to answer, it’s a call to continue the mission of Jesus in this world,” Sr. Barbara said in 2022, in her 60th year of vowed professed religious life. “I thank you for allowing me and accepting me to further the mission of Jesus. I thank you also for being supportive with your prayers, your genuine trust, faith, charity and friendship. For without it, I would not have been able to perform my part of furthering the mission of Jesus Christ.”

In 2022, Newman University did a live stream interview with Sr. Barbara, who shared much about her life and religious journey. You can watch that video by clicking here.
