As  you may recall, we commissioned four stained glass windows back in 2024 and they are now soon to arrive! We don’t know exactly when, but have been told it should be “soon.” These windows are of four saints: St. Josephine Bakhita, St. Carlo Acutis, St. Kateri Tekakwitha, and St. Andrew Dũng-Lạc.

These stained glass windows will be a wonderful addition to our church as they will bring more beauty to our space, pointing us on to the beauty of God. The images of the saints will certainly inspire us to respond generously to the Lord as they did and remind us we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses and intercessors. Also, being colorful windows, we too will be reminded that the light of these holy lives comes from above: when we allow God’s light to shine through us, something truly beautiful comes forth.

They will be installed in the church, on the back sides near the confessionals. Two saints will be on each side. They will come one by one, and we don’t know yet in what order, but they should come within a few weeks of each other. In the next few weeks I’ll offer a short biography of each saint in the bulletin, but we will also do some educational and prayerful events around each saint once their window is installed. Stay tuned. What an exciting summer we will have! All for God’s glory,

 All for God’s glory,
